In Talasani, a small picturesque mountain village in La Castagniccia, only eight kilometres from a sandy beach, we offer bed and breakfast with old-fashioned charm and modern comfort.

In our eighteenth century house and garden we offer you the chance to relax completely. The spacious and stylish rooms are eclectically and uniquely furnished, and face south with a view over the valley. The bathrooms (en suite) have separate WCs. The house has been carefully restored, without losing any of its original charm. Our aim is to provide an environment which our guests will want to visit for its own sake - not just a place to eat and sleep between beach visits.

Maison Borghetti is peacefully situated and forms an ideal base for

	nature: ideally situated for walking, both to the coast and to the breathtakingly beautiful mountains and valleys of the green and unspoiled Castagniccia, for nature lovers and those wanting to get away from it all. Talasani is less than a kilometre from the Corsican Regional Park and in easy reach of la Cascade de l'Ucelluline
	culture: the A.D.E.C.E.C. museum (Cervione), the Pascal Paoli Museum (Morosaglia), the Orezza spring, Penta di Casinca, A Porta, etc., etc., etc.
	beaches: long quiet sandy beaches a few kilometres away, plus naturist beaches.

	The house is equipped with wireless internet access (Wi-Fi). You can also make use of a computer in the living room.

	As Brian is himself a vegetarian, you can be sure there'll always be vegetarian food available (but please let us know beforehand if you're a vegetarian).

Who are we?

We, Brian Burns and Patrick Agten, had been coming to Corsica on holidays for a combined total of thirty years before finally deciding to move here and start a B&B. But not just any B&B: our aim was to provide the sort of place we'd like to stay in ourselves, a place in which we'd feel completely at home and relaxed.

After much searching we found the perfect location: an 18th. century house situated in a quiet mountain village with practically no tourism, within easy reach of a sandy beach. Having found the perfect house, we set about making the necessary improvements, but without losing any of the original charm. We still have a lot of work to do, but are already open for business with two guest rooms (soon three). We hope to be able to welcome you to Maison Borghetti very soon.
